Thirteen companies of the Fortenova Group have successfully completed the evaluation process, thereby confirming high standards in human capital management. Alongside the existing certificate holders, Idea Montenegro joined this group for the first time this year.
Employer Partner certificates for 2025 were given to: Fortenova grupa d.d., Konzum, Pik Vrbovec, Jamnica, mStart, Idea marketi, Mg Mivela, Roto dinamic, Zvijezda, Dijamant, Mercator Slovenija, Sarajevski kiseljak and Idea Crna Gora.
The Employer Partner certificate represents an impartial recognition by human resources experts within the European community, confirming the highest quality of management across seven key HR areas. Over its 20 years of existence, experts from the SELECTIO Group have continuously used this certificate to highlight the development and advancement of HR practices in Croatia. In addition, the benchmark analysis conducted as part of the evaluation demonstrates continuous progress in the development of HR practices and employee management standards.
The Future Resilience certificate is awarded by the SELECTIO Group to organizations that actively work on developing employee resilience and organizational culture, care for employee well-being, and implement initiatives that help them face challenges and unpredictable situations. After Fortenova grupa d.d. became the first company in the region to complete the pilot Future Resilience certification process in 2024, this year the same process was successfully completed by Konzum, Konzum BiH, Roto dinamic, Zvijezda, Idea Montenegro, Tisak, Mg Mivela, Jamnica, Sarajevski kiseljak, and mStart.
Standardized HR processes as the foundation of sustainable business
Regardless of the exceptionally broad range of business activities, the Group does not compromise on the quality of people-focused processes, as we are aware that this is one of the most important employer advantages in today’s labor market. Another key factor we insist on in human resources is the standardization of processes and activities across all companies, regardless of the markets in which they operate. This is then reflected in external recognitions such as these, confirming that we have a business environment that respects employee needs and takes care of their satisfaction and motivation, commented Vlasta Babić Kolar, Director of Human Resources at Fortenova Group.
Fortenova Group systematically develops its HR practices with a clear focus on long-term growth and sustainability. Their thoughtful approach to leadership development, internal training, and flexible forms of work stands out in particular. This demonstrates that continuous improvement of the working environment is not a short-term initiative, but an integral part of the business strategy. They have also demonstrated a high level of maturity in human capital management through clearly structured recruitment and development processes. It is also worth highlighting initiatives that enable employees to actively propose ideas and participate in shaping collaboration and synergy within the Group, said Lara Šubić Šuša, Head of HR Consulting at the SELECTIO Group.
