Tifon has once again successfully completed the evaluation conducted by HR experts from SELECTIO Group and has therefore been granted a new Employer Partner certificate. The certificate recognizes organizations that systematically develop HR practices focused on long-term employee satisfaction and development. It also includes companies that support business goals and provide a high-quality employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
Over the past year, Tifon has focused on expanding its network and modernizing its retail locations. During this period, the HR function further strengthened its role as a strategic business partner. The HR team manages key processes related to recruitment, onboarding, career development, and competency models. HR responsibilities also include reward systems and programs focused on employee well-being. This approach ensures that people remain at the center of the organization, even during operational changes.
A strategic and development-oriented approach to human resource management
Organizational culture stands out as one of Tifon’s key strengths. Employees demonstrate a strong focus on business goals and a high level of team collaboration. The HR function is clearly structured and strategically positioned within the organization. The HR Manager takes part in executive management, while the HR team leads all key people management processes. Procedures and policies are standardized and accessible to all employees. Decisions are data-driven and include the monitoring of turnover, absenteeism, and other key indicators.
Employee development is one of the core elements of Tifon’s HR strategy. Employees have access to a wide range of internal and external training programs, as well as digital learning methods. In the past year, initiatives aimed at better integration of foreign workers have been further strengthened. A broad range of benefits is available to employees. The company regularly organizes events and initiatives focused on overall employee well-being. These include Dani djece, sports and charity events, Dani zdravlja, and financial literacy workshops. Educational lectures for parents are also organized.
This year once again, I can only express my pride and gratitude to our HR team for the effort, dedication, and enthusiasm that are constantly present in everything we do. Most importantly, we are recognized as a strategic partner by the Management Board and leadership, and our colleagues – regardless of their position- see and recognize that we are here for them.
