Kaufland and its sister company EUN (Europa upravljanje nekretninama) have received another Employer Partner certificate, reaffirming their long-term, strategic commitment to high-quality human resources management.
This year, Kaufland further confirmed its standards of excellence through the Above and Beyond certificate in the Future and Innovation categories – a recognition available only to organizations that rank at the very top in the overall assessment of their HR system quality.
Innovation and employee development as a strategic priority
Kaufland and EUN consistently demonstrate that human resources management is a strategic decision, not merely an operational function. A strong focus on the quality of the employee experience has been recognized, evident through digitalized onboarding practices and systematic support for the integration of employees from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. The organizations also pursue a strategic approach to developing digital and analytical competencies, as well as actively engaging employees through an Ambassador program – all of which further confirms their development-oriented and innovative approach to people management, noted Lara Šubić Šuša, Head of HR Consulting at SELECTIO Group.
Human resources management is closely aligned with business priorities and long-term planning. The organization stands out for its initiatives focused on building future-ready competencies, fostering innovation, and continuously adapting to changes in the labor market.
The organization systematically develops future competencies, encourages collaboration, and ensures transparent career opportunities: with equal recognition given to both expert and managerial career paths. Open communication, development programs, and reward systems sustain long-term organizational stability and growth.
The certificate is a confirmation of the quality work done in the preceding period, and we see it as a checkpoint in a race that is still ongoing. It is valuable to have insight into where we stand relative to other top-tier employers in Croatia, and we particularly appreciate the recommendations from the certification team, which spark internal discussions about areas for further improvement of our strategies. We are pleased to be leaders in the Innovation and Future categories, as this shows we are on the right track when it comes to adaptability and building resilience in the face of constant change, said Hrvoje Bulić, HR Director at Kaufland, at the certificate presentation.
In addition to the Employer Partner certificate, Kaufland also holds the Equal Pay Champion certificate. The organization is guided by the principle of equal pay for equal work and systematically develops transparent and fair compensation systems. By obtaining the Equal Pay Champion certificate, Kaufland confirms its ongoing efforts to ensure equality and fairness within the organization, further strengthening its position as a responsible and sustainable employer.
