Yesterday, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Employer Partner certificate at the Mozaik Center. The project was launched in 2005 as part of SELECTIO Group and has since become a regional standard of excellence in human resource management. The event brought together company representatives, HR managers, certifiers, and partners to mark this milestone and look ahead to the future of HR.
Two decades of setting and expanding standards of excellence
Employer Partner is more than a certificate. It represents a movement that brings together organizations committed to building high-quality workplaces and continuously improving HR standards. The vision of connecting HR and business, set out in 2005 by the project’s initiator Nenad Bakić, is now reflected in the everyday practices of all certified organizations.
As emphasized by Aleksandar Zemunić, Director of SELECTIO Group:

Continuous improvement and methodology review
Project updates were presented to event guests by Lara Šubić Šuša, Head of HR Consulting at SELECTIO Group. She highlighted that the certificate’s standards and methodology are continuously evolving in line with global best practices. The goal is to provide organizations with a clear, objective, and motivating framework for progress.
The Employer Partner certificate has become measurable proof of excellence in human resource management. To stay aligned with emerging HR trends, we are proud to announce that starting next year, certification will be conducted under a new and improved methodology. This methodology will respond to current market needs and be fully aligned with the latest HR practices. We carry out such revisions every four years, ensuring that only meaningful and regionally relevant improvements are introduced.
The anniversary celebration was both a moment to celebrate and an opportunity to reflect on how we collectively build the HR community and drive positive change in work environments. We would like to thank all partners, certifiers, and certificate holders who are part of this journey and contribute to the Employer Partner mission.
